3 Little Jack-O-Lanterns

After making my ghost and Boo! candle holders last year, I decided to make some jack-o-lanterns.
I'd been saving jars forever. I chose 3 that would make the perfect jack-o-lanterns.

So I used my Basic George Cricut cartridge to cut perfect triangles out of vinyl. Then I used an exacto knife to cut out the mouth shapes.

(I have another ghost in the works.)

Add a little orange spray paint....

And you have jack-o-lanterns.

Very cute! I was thinking of doing something similar but with glass paint. Spray painting sounds much quicker and easier and the finish would probably be better too - thanks for the inspiration!

Great idea! I would love to see what they look like all lit up in a dark room or outside at night.

Great job! Pumpkins are my favorite item for fall decorating. My weekly linky party--One Creative Weekend--has gone spooky this week in honor of my thirteenth party. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll visit "One Creative Weekend" on OneCreativeMommy.com (open every Fri-Wed) and link up this idea and anything else you’d like to share. (You can include non-Halloween posts as well, but feel free to link up as many Halloween-themed posts as you like.)

They so cute! I'm always saving jars with nothing in particular in mind for them, so maybe I'll try this sometime. :-)

What brand/type of spray paint did you use? It looks like a great finish but I don't have luck often. Thanks for response.
